Familiarize yourself with the tools you'll be using to transform employee performance.

Throughout your workday, watch for team members performing safe behaviors. When you see them performing one of the behaviors, or doing something else that deserves recognition, give them an Excel card! 

At the beginning of each week, give 1 Celebrate card to the team based on the previous week's performance. If you aren't sure if your team met the Celebrate goal, ask your manager. Try to give your team 1 Celebrate card per week. 

In your regular team meetings at the beginning of each month, read and discuss the Learn topic with your team using the posters provided. Encourage your team to complete the Learn quiz to earn points.

Best Practices

Excel and Celebrate are tools for delivering positive reinforcement. The key to making positive reinforcement effective is delivering it as soon as possible

  • Excel cards should be delivered throughout the course of the work, when behavior is observed. At the earliest (and safest) convenience, send them an Excel card! Aim to send each employee 1-2 Excel cards per month.

  • Celebrate cards should be given weekly to the entire team if they met the goal for that week.

FAQ's

1. How do I earn points?

Every time you award an Excel or Celebrate card and take the Learn quiz, you'll earn points you can redeem for items in the AOE Rewards catalog! You may also receive points from your manager.

2. Do points expire?

Nope! You can save or spend your points however you choose. We can even help you transfer points from your account to a coworker's.

3. Where will my orders be delivered?

Orders will be delivered to your home address, so be sure that you put the address you receive packages in your profile when you create your account.
